In case you missed it, check out this week's "Artist on Artist" feature that includes an interview between Nikki and Liz Yeljack of Glitterlust.
Glitterlust and Freeform Radio were formed around the same time and have played a number of gigs together, including last year's Phase Fest (pictured).
Raising money for Girls Rock! DC
In an interview with Katy Ray of Tagg Magazine, Nikki discusses what it's like to be a girl in a boys club, as the rock 'n 'roll music scene tends to be, and how she hopes to improve the station of future generations of girls by supporting organizations like Girls Rock! DC.
"At some point, we've all felt mistreated or short-changed because we're girls. This is one small way we can try to make things better for the next generation – supporting an organization that aims to enrich and empower young women."
